The PNC Championship is not a PGA Tour event, and is considered more laid-back and less demanding than a normal event, Sports Illustrated reported.

In late November, Tiger Woods said he did not expect to play golf full-time ever again. In February, Woods was in a car crash in Los Angeles County that left him with shattered bones in his right leg, as previously reported.

The PNC Championship is Dec. 16-19 and features 20 major champions and their relatives competing for more than a million dollars in a two-day, 36-hole tournament, CNN reported.

Last year’s PNC Championship featured Woods’ son Charlie in his first big public appearance, and the pair finished seventh in a field of 20, CBS Sports reported.
