The Super Bowl Halftime Show not only increased sales of The Weeknd’s music but spiked streams of his songs too.
The Canadian superstar had 48.9 million on-demand streams following the performance, a 41% bump in the US alone.
“Blinding Lights,” which he closed out the set with, and “Save Your Tears” accounted for more than a quarter of all plays between Feb. 7 and 8.
The nine songs played last Sunday collectively accounted for 23.8 million streams alone during that period.
